Former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mustapha Amego (AKA Funky Malam) passed away yesterday after a protracted battle with colon cancer. Mustapha who relocated to America many years ago, died yesterday October 23rd in Baltimore, Maryland, US.
He was one of the host of popular 90's weekly music-dance show, Sunday Rendezvous. He was also elected PMAN president from 1993 to 1996. When he finished his tenure, he relocated to the US where he worked with the Discovery Channel as a content producer and editor.He will be buried today according to Muslim rites.
