A suicide bomber drove an SUV laden with bombs into the St Rita's Catholic Church,Ungwan Yero area of the Kaduna Metropolis killing an unconfirmed number of worshippers. There was chaos as people at the scene scrambled the victims and injured survivors to St Geralds Catholic Hospital in Kaduna for treatment. No group has claimed responsibility yet but the modus operandi of the attack bears the hall mark of the Islamists Jihad group Boko Haram that has unleased wanton destruction in the Northern part of Nigeria in recent years
