OAU STUDENT ATTEMPTS TO FLUSH BABY DOWN THE TOILET AFTER DELIVERY IN A HOSTEL

It was a rather bizzare scene today as an Obafemi Awolowo University student who gave birth to a baby inside her hostel toilet attempted to flush the innocent new born the toilet.

The alleged culprit we gathered is one Oyin, a 400 level student of the Department of Electrical Electronics who resides in the school’s “Big Girls” hostel, Moremi Hall Block B, Room 103.

The ugly incident happened early this morning when a cleaner who heard the baby’s cries caught her. She met the baby covered with ‘poop’ as the mother tried to dispose of it down the toilet.

Oyin was intercepted by an angry mob while she attempted to escape; pleading that is actions were not intentional. Claims by eyewitnesses say they found a “bacco sac” with her, which probably means that she made, used of some instruments.
