This is a classic situation where ultimately there are no winners nor looser in this gut wrenching argument as to whether to err on the side that life is sacred and should be preserved at all cost now matter how this is achieved or whether common sense should be prevail to allow the poor girl transit peacefully to the great beyond without hanging on to her body on earth for too long. Hopefully the special interests that love to dabble into other people's life decision making process will respect the fact this is a harrowing situation for the patient and her immediate family. The situation should not become another political jamboree where everyone starts meddling.
