The ancient city of Kano has been thrown into confusion as the revered monarch of the city,Alhaji Ado Bayero was attacked today. The attack is suspected to have been from the dreaded Boko Haram sect. Alhaji Ado Bayero's entourage was ambushed at Massallacin Murtala area of Kano State and his limousine was rained by a barrage of bullets. Two of his aides are feared dead while two of his sons were said to be seriously injured.
