The Governor of Nasarawa State,Umaru Al-Makura recently had a hip surgery at a hospital in Newcastle,United Kingdom and he is said to be having physiotherapy.This is another sad commentary on the members of Nigerian ruling elite who through the years make sure that the health system is comatose and they rush to any hospital abroad for their own medical treatment. I wonder how the downtrodden in Nasarawa State are feeling as tax payers money is been expended to cater for Mr Al-Makura in a foreign country. Mr Al-Makura,if the public office of Governor is good for you,then the public health services in Nasarawa State should be good for you too!!!! .
