PDP FACTIONAL LEADERS ARE JUST CRIMINALS LIKE THEIR PEERS IN THE OLD PDP

Nigeria's former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and five other governors who walked out of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Convention that held in Abuja and went to form a faction of the party have been screaming that they are doing this for Democracy. The governors who aligned with Atiku are: Governor Mu'azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger state, governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto state, governor Musa Kwankwaso of Kano state, and governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state. Others are Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa and Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state, who were barred from attending the convention and former Kwara governor,Bukola Saraki.Abubakar Baraje was elected chairman, while former Osun State governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola was elected Secretary of this new faction of PDP.

This a shame to our democratic system, at least we should learn from other countries, while we call ourselves the giant of africa, good people great nation, and all sorts of names, our so called leaders are not matured when it comes to negotiating issues between themselves, they act like touts in the street, what do they want we the young ones to see, division and not unity. These vagabonds are fighting for their selfish  interest. They are all criminals whose only idea of how to survive is to make money through public office. In decent societies, disagreements is what always strengthens a democracy if the key players have no shenanigans motives towards it. What we have presently is nothing but a bunch of thieves fighting over how to share the loot which is Nigeria's resources.Under democratic procedures, after a decision has been made in a dispute, those in the minority are bound by the party decision reached by majority vote. All party members are required to help carry out the party decision and the party confronts the outside world with a single policy, that of the majority. A dissident minority is not asked to give up its views. It must simply await an appropriate time to raise the disputed issues inside the party again. And comrades in a minority are given an unqualified opportunity to serve the party in every respect in the party’s daily life.
